APPROVED TRANSFER SOURCES

  • Direct equivalent courses from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS)
  • College-level work completed at other regionally accredited colleges and universities
  • Credit earned through approved entrance level examinations (i.e., AP/CLEP/DANTES)
  • Military credit (see Military Partners for more information)
  • Credits from non-regionally accredited institutions or other institutions of higher learning with whom Regent has an articulation agreement (credits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
  • A score of 3 or higher on high school Advanced Placement exams
  • Experiential credit

GET AHEAD BY TRANSFERRING YOUR ASSOCIATE’S DEGREE

Students who are admitted to Regent with a qualifying regionally accredited A.A., A.S., or A.A.&S degree will have general education requirements waived except general education courses specified by their major, or required as prerequisites for courses in their major.

3 EASY STEPS TO TRANSFER

For students with 15 or more transferable college credits.

1. Fill out our online application.
$50 nonrefundable application fee applies.

2. Submit your unofficial transcripts.
Please submit your unofficial transcripts to our Admissions Office by emailing apply@regent.edu. Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University’s Admissions Office will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution. Official college transcripts can be sent to the following address:

Students can transfer a maximum of 90 credits toward their bachelor’s degree or 48 credits toward their associate’s degree.

3. Complete admissions questionnaire.

This brief questionnaire is required for acceptance to your degree program.
