Henry V by William Shakespeare; adapted by Marianne Savell

Does God take sides in war? Henry V of England sure thinks so. After an insult from the French pretender to the throne, Henry invades France, praying to God for success. “The game's afoot: Follow your spirit, and upon this charge cry 'God for Harry, England, and Saint George!' “ the great speech-giver tells his army. When an unexpected victory comes his way, Henry unites the two kingdoms, cementing his “divine right” to be king.
