“My mentor is providing insight about the program and helping me navigate expectations and motivation to give myself grace. He is also helping me to understand my purpose and the change maker I am. He provides experience and insight about his time in the DSL program. I am thankful for my mentor and the wisdom he provides. It has been very meaningful, and I look forward to continuing this mentorship. I believe this program is vital to being in the DSL program and really all programs at Regent if it were to be implemented. The guidance and mentorship are amazing, and I am thankful to be a part of this program”
Omar Ross, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2029 Mentee
“Thank you, Dean Gomez, for introducing me to the Executive Mentorship Program. It has blessed me greatly over my last 3 years in the DSL program. Mr. Walt Pilcher an amazing author and man of faith, helped me realize budding spiritual gifts and connect my spirituality to business endeavors. Dr. Katrina Thornton, a senior executive, helped me to consider what it meant to enter and engage with C-suite leaders challenging me to move from tactical leadership to systemic leadership. As a result of my interaction with these leaders I'm leaving this university grateful and mindful of the investment in helping me become a Christian Leader prepared to change the world.”
Derrick Rodgers, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2024 Mentee
“It’s officially 'Dr.' now! Thank you God, Regent, and my family.”
Cedric Bryant, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2020 Sr. Consultant/Co-Founder, Bryant & Bryant Institute
“I know I've arrived where I am because of the experience at Regent. Anything that we did in class, the feasibility study, the business plan, it all came back to the ministry aspect that I always had in my heart to help orphans and vulnerable children.”
Nataliya Khom’yak, MBA, 2004 Leader, Orphan's Promise
“To pursue your degree, you do have to make sacrifices. But, you can get through it, and most importantly, you don't have to compromise your principles.”
David Segovia, MBA, 2015
