“I have had an extensive career of over 25 years in healthcare. This opportunity is a result of God’s favor and my recently obtained degree. I am very excited and grateful for the doors already opening as a result of my time at Regent.”
Lois Anderson, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2021 Organization Development Consultant, Capital Region Health, University of Maryland Medical System
“Regent helped me learn what it means to be a scholar-practitioner. I work for one of the top consulting firms in the nation specializing in educational leadership development and serve as a member of the graduate faculty at a local university.”
Anthony Marchese, Ph.D., 2008
“My mentor has been incredibly generous with her time and support. She helped me develop a professional philosophy that reflects who I hope to be as a leader, and she pointed me toward resources and suggested specific conferences that could be beneficial to my professional growth. She allowed me to workshop my doctoral final project idea with her and challenged me to make a few strategic tweaks so it sits at the intersection of popular press and textbook writing, with the goal of it being something that could be used in both corporate and academic environments. She’s also been deeply supportive on a personal level, praying for me, checking in on me, and caring about me as a whole person. I’m incredibly grateful for her mentorship and truly can’t say enough good things about Dr. Duke. She is such a blessing!”
Lydia Pert, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2026 Mentee
“I was particularly impressed with the highly organized online Ph.D. program. The faculty is second to none when it comes to their intelligence, teaching ability, compassion and their desire to work with students.”
Tom Norbutus, Ph.D., 2012 Human Resource Development
“One of the most powerful experiences I had during this mentorship was realizing I wasn’t walking this road alone. The encouragement, the accountability, and the honest conversations gave me fuel to keep pressing forward when old mindsets tried to creep in. I found clarity in my purpose, and being surrounded by others who were just as committed to growth and healing gave me hope and strength. I was provided a referral for future collaboration. I learned to embrace my voice, sharpen my vision, and step more confidently into the calling God placed on my life. Future participants—come with an open heart and expect transformation. It’s more than mentorship—it’s a divine encounter with destiny”
Janet L. Garcia, Doctor of Strategic Leadership, 2025 Mentee
