Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership

In the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship we recognize the growing need for leadership in the various industries for the future advancement of organizations. To this end, the M.A. in Organizational Leadership (MOL) teaches key organizational leadership elements such as ethics, motivation, creativity, vision, strategic planning, teamwork, group development, technology and organizational development.

Outstanding Leadership Curriculum

The MOL provides students with a core curriculum of in-depth leadership and organizational development topics combined with focused concentration in one of several areas followed by a culminating project during which students conduct research or perform an organizational intervention that incorporates all the course content of the program.

Flexible Online Format

Our MOL courses are available 100 percent online. When it comes to higher education, today's busy professionals require not only high quality education but also flexible course schedules to fit their lives. The MOL was designed to meet those requirements by using the autonomous learning model and communication technology. The program's online format allows flexibility and adaptability to accommodate almost any schedule and requires no on-campus residency. While residency is not required for the MOL program, the program offers students an opportunity to attend an optional two-day residency.

MOL graduates will be able to:

  • Examine and apply organizational leadership theories.
  • Manage organizational behavior and change to increase organizational effectiveness.
  • Create leadership development plans for self-awareness and improvement.
  • Employ qualitative and quantitative research for organizational analysis and problem solving.
  • Facilitate organizational group formation and development.
  • Apply coaching, mentoring and discipling skills to organizational leadership.
  • Analyze organizational communication and the relationship of communication to organizational satisfaction and effectiveness.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational effectiveness and success.
  • Utilize information technologies in the design and leadership of an organization and identify the driving forces affecting organizations now and in the future.
  • Apply organizational leadership knowledge and skills within a global context.
  • Lead with integrity grounded in a Judeo-Christian worldview and values system.

The faculty and staff of the School of Global Leadership & Entrepreneurship value each student and truly want to see them succeed. Therefore, throughout the program and when life challenges arise, we want to provide as much support as possible to encourage each student to continue on their educational journey and complete their degree. Therefore, GLE employs the following incentives to assist with student retention.

M.A. in Organizational Leadership

  • To begin the program on the right foot, a clear step-by-step process for enrollment is sent to each new student in their acceptance letter.
  • New students are assigned an academic faculty advisor to serve as their primary contact for advising issues throughout the program.
  • Students maintain journals during core courses to chronicle content learned and transformations that have occurred.
  • A one-time scholarship may be provided to assist in certain circumstances.
  • An optional two-day, on-campus residency event is held annually for face-to-face interaction with faculty and peers.
  • Faculty and staff respond to student emails and phone calls within 48 hours.
