APPROVED TRANSFER SOURCES

  • Direct equivalent courses from the Virginia Community College System (VCCS)
  • College-level work completed at other regionally accredited colleges and universities
  • Credit earned through approved entrance level examinations (i.e., AP/CLEP/DANTES)
  • Military credit (see Military Partners for more information)
  • Credits from non-regionally accredited institutions or other institutions of higher learning with whom Regent has an articulation agreement (credits will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
  • A score of 3 or higher on high school Advanced Placement exams
  • Experiential credit

GET AHEAD BY TRANSFERRING YOUR ASSOCIATE DEGREE

Students who are admitted to Regent with a qualifying regionally accredited A.A., A.S., or A.A.S degree will have general education requirements waived except general education courses specified by their major or required as prerequisites for courses in their major.

3 EASY STEPS TO TRANSFER

For students with 15 or more transferable college credits.

    1. Fill out our online application.
      $50 nonrefundable application fee applies. Call 757.352.4960 to ask about fee-waiver eligibility.
    2. Submit ALL your unofficial transcripts.
      Please submit your unofficial transcripts to our Admissions Office by emailing apply@regent.edu. Official college transcripts can be sent to the following address:

        • Regent University
        • Metroplex – Transcripts
        • 1000 Regent University Drive
        • Virginia Beach, VA 23464

      Students can transfer a maximum of 90 credits toward their bachelor’s degree or 48 credits toward their associate degree.

    3. Complete admissions questionnaire.
      This brief questionnaire is required for acceptance to your degree program.
