Regent University’s business degree in economics will equip you to be a Christian leader in the domestic or international marketplace. Building upon a foundation of general business courses, you will also gain skills in microeconomics and macroeconomics, entrepreneurship and economic development, and international economics. Courses offered in the bachelor’s degree in economics program build on the moral perspectives of the Austrian school of Economic thought and are taught from a Christian worldview. As part of your program you will study accounting, marketing principles, financial management, business law, international business, the political economy and business technology.

Earn your economics degree in Virginia on our beautiful campus, or pursue your degree online. Both programs will equip for a variety of exciting careers. Some economic majors choose to work in the business or finance industries while others work for government agencies like the Bureau of Labor Statistics or the Department of Commerce. The skills you acquire will prepare you for positions such as economist, financial analyst, market researcher, policy analyst, loan officer, financial consultant, and many more.
