Course Requirements:
Master of Business Administration
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is designed for today's professional who operates in a global and rapidly changing environment. The degree addresses strategic opportunities produced by a global economy as well as entrepreneurial approaches to solving problems and capitalizing on new business ventures.
Designed for both full-time and part-time professionals, the MBA program consists of seven 6-credit-hour courses that can be completed in either seven semesters part time or four semesters full time. All students pursuing the MBA, including those pursuing a joint degree, must complete 42 credit hours. Due to the streamlined nature of this program, transfer of credits into this program is not permitted. The maximum time allowed to complete the MBA is five years. An academic year is comprised of three semesters: fall, spring and summer. Each semester is approximately 14 weeks in length.
Course Requirements
- Students pursuing the MBA must complete a total of 42 credit hours of coursework and demonstrate conversational proficiency in a foreign language.
- A 0-credit on-campus residency is optional for all MBA students but is a tremendous opportunity for networking, attending major-speaker events and being invited to present papers at future residencies.
- In accordance with Regent University’s commitment to develop globally competent Christian leaders, MBA students are strongly encouraged to maximize their learning and increase their global awareness and competency by participating in either short-term or semester-long study abroad endeavors. GLE faculty maintain extensive networks and contacts around the world and will be happy to share their knowledge and connections with students who choose to study abroad. Course assignments in selected courses can be substituted for travel or study abroad projects and will be developed under the supervision of MBA faculty.
