This program integrates Regent’s multimillion-dollar cyber range for practical skill development.

CYBR 383	Advanced Cyber Practicum	1	Cyber defense practitioner skills through team collaboration and hands-on exercises within Regent’s cyber range to identify, analyze, defend and secure against emerging presented threats. Lab exercises include incident response and systems analysis exercises which include debriefs and the construction of comprehensive Incident Response reports. Requires some synchronous availability. Prerequisites: ISYS 324 Networks and Telecommunication Concepts, Comp TIA Network+ certification, or equivalent. Pass/No Pass. Cross-listed with CYBR 583.
ISYS 205	Linux System Administration	3	Focuses instruction on the installation, configuration, and administration of the Linux operating system and emphasizes the use of Linux with the maximization of security in mind for a network client. Prerequisite: ISYS 204.
ISYS 324	Network & Telecommunication Concepts	3	Students gain in-depth knowledge of networking and telecommunications fundamentals including LANs, MANs, WANs, intranets, the Internet, and the WWW. Attention to data communication and telecommunication concepts, models, standards, and protocols in the context of installation, configuration, systems integration, and management of infrastructure technologies. Prerequisites: CSCI 201, ISYS 204 and Sophomore standing.

Students should refer to their catalog or audited degree plan (ADP) for required courses to complete their degree.
