Develop Strategies for Policymaking Through Regent’s Policy Studies Concentration

Do you desire to run a campaign based on principled ideas and policies? Regent’s Master of Arts in Campaigns & Political Leadership with a concentration in Policy Studies will prepare you to manage a campaign built on issues that matter most to voters. Focusing on principles of federalism, courses are delivered from a limited-government viewpoint and Christian worldview. You will learn about campaign management, election strategies, political parties, administrative ethics, policy initiatives, and finance and compliance issues. You’ll also study the public policy process, policy analysis, and the principles and techniques for analyzing policy alternatives. This concentration is delivered fully online or online with some face-to-face components in Virginia Beach.

An analysis of the nature and development of the Israeli political system, including historical background, Zionism, elections and the institutions of government, constitutional issues, and religion and politics. The relationship between domestic politics and foreign policy will also be explored as well as the regional and global context in which Israel exists.
Provides comprehensive overview of the public policy process and policy analysis. Examines contexts and actors of public policy, the principles and techniques for analyzing policy alternatives, and the methods for evaluating the effectiveness of governmental policy initiatives.
Introduces basic concepts and vocabulary for pursuing additional training in cybersecurity policy and affairs. Examines issues such as: how does encryption work? What is code? What is a blockchain and what is critical infrastructure? Also, suitable for students not wishing to pursue a concentration or certificate but wishing to acquire familiarity with these issues.
Addresses the work of local government managers and leaders in promoting ethical, effective, efficient and accountable government for cities, counties and local and regional authorities.

All new students are expected to check-in for the semester two weeks before the session start date. Students should apply, be accepted, enroll in their first courses, and confirm a plan to pay for their courses prior to this date.

Step 3: Submit Your Unofficial College Transcripts

  • Email your unofficial college transcripts to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Unofficial Transcripts.
  • Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution.
  • International transcripts must be evaluated by an NACES-approved company.

Step 4: Submit Your Government-Issued ID

  • Email a photo of your government-issued ID to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Government ID.
  • Please note that all items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.
