B.S. in Criminal Justice – Law Enforcement

Examines criminal law in the United States with special attention given to various principles that apply to most criminal cases. Investigation includes the history and development of criminal law in the United States, an analysis of a number of specific types of crimes, parties to crime, and criminal defense.

Investigates the processes through which criminal law is applied to individuals in society. Explores the lawfulness and admissibility of criminal procedures, trial processes, sentencing, and appeals.

Examines the history, development, and current organizational and administrative practices of police departments and other law enforcement agencies.
Introduces basic concepts, terms, principles and practices of American public policy within a democratic-constitutional framework, with emphasis on theory development, policy analysis techniques, political, economic, and social organizational and institutional influence in the policymaking process, coverage of select policy areas, and demonstration of faith integration in the policymaking process.

  • Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution.
  • International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-approved company.

Step 4: Submit Your Government-Issued ID if Applicable

  • All online students and graduate level on-campus students are required to email a photo of your government-issued ID to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Government ID.
  • Please note that all items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.

Step 5: Submit Your FAFSA

  • Complete your Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) at studentaid.gov Regent’s school code is 030913.
