Date & Time: Friday, May 8, 2020, 2 p.m.

Congratulations! We are excited that you have decided to join us for the virtual Commissioning service.

The service that will be streamed on this page will prayerfully commission you to serve the world as a Christian leader in your chosen field. The program outline includes:

  • A welcome
  • An address from the Dean
  • Academic award recipients
  • Congratulatory remarks from our Executive Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Gerson Moreno-Riaño
  • A commissioning address from our Founder and Chancellor, Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson
  • Closing and prayer

To commission someone is “to entrust, or to give authority” or “to appoint or assign to a task or function.” Within the context of our graduation, commissioning is a sacred and holy time of consecration, reflection and prayer.

Post-graduate and graduate students may participate who are candidates for the degree programs outlined below. These candidates have received official notification from the Registrar’s Office granting approval. Undergraduate students in associate and bachelor’s degree programs in analogous discipline areas, namely, psychology and clinical & counseling psychology participate in the College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) Commissioning ceremony.  Please reference the CAS web page for event details.
