Introduction to fundamental concepts, principles, structures, and operations of computer networks.
Essential topics in architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in small networks to include configuring networks for basic functionality. Prerequisite: ISYS 210.
Advanced topics in architecture, components, and operations of routers and switches in large and complex networks to include configuring networks for advanced functionality. Prerequisite: ISYS 220.
Advanced discussions in WAN technologies and network services to include selection criteria and WAN technologies to meet complex network requirements. Prerequisites: ISYS 230.
Step 1: Apply to Regent University
- Submit your application at www.regent.edu/apply and apply for Undergraduate level, then choose Online, Desired Program: Certificate of Undergraduate Studies, Major: CISCO Networking. Indicate the term you want to begin the course and Part-time.
Step 2: Complete Your Admissions Questionnaire
- After you submit your application, please complete the required admissions questionnaire.
Step 3: Submit Your Unofficial Transcripts
- Email your unofficial high school or college transcripts to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Unofficial Transcripts.
- Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution.
- International transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES-approved company.
Step 4: Submit Your Government-Issued ID
- Email a photo of your government-issued ID to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Government ID.
- Please note that all items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.
