The Bachelor of Science in Teacher Education/Interdisciplinary Studies with a concentration in Pre-K-3 is designed for those seeking initial licensure with endorsement. Once you complete this program, you will be eligible to receive a license to teach prekindergarten through third grade in the Commonwealth of Virginia. Through a range of study, performance assessments and field experiences, you will explore diverse early childhood understandings. You'll also learn about human growth and development, curriculum and instructional procedures, classroom and behavior management, foundations of education and teaching reading. Presented from a Christian worldview, courses may be taken online, however some courses must be taken on campus in Virginia Beach.
