PACE Program FAQ
I’ve taken a Regent PACE course in the past. Am I eligible to take another PACE class this time around?
Yes! And not just you but your spouse and or dependent can also participate in a PACE course. We are excited to extend these credits to you.
How long is the course?
PACE courses are four weeks in length. If you have not participated at all by the close of the first week, you will be dropped from the course. Please alert your professor if this happens.
When can I access the class?
Classes open a week before the start date. You will be able to log in to your Blackboard account to view more information about your course and instructor.
Is the course self-paced?
There are weekly assignments you will have to complete by the due date that your professor has set. There is also a final project that you will be expected to complete the last week of class.
Are there any books I need to purchase for this course?
How do I log in and who do I contact for technical issues?
Log into your PACE account through Blackboard. Check your Regent email for more information about your course. If you are experiencing problems, contact the IT Help Desk at 757.352.4076 or firstname.lastname@example.org.
What should I expect in Week 1?
An introduction to online learning, a collaborative online experience, and an opportunity to learn from our award-winning faculty.
When should I make my first post or submission?
You should participate within the first week of the class start date. If you have not logged into your Blackboard course a week after the start date, you will be dropped for lack of participation.
Do I really need to complete the coursework in 4 weeks?
Yes. If you engage in the course but do not complete the assignments, you will receive a failing grade for the class.
Who do I contact if I’m having course content issues?
Please contact your professor directly. Their contact information can be found in your Blackboard page under Instructor Information.
How can I find out if I am eligible for a corporate partner scholarship?
How do I transfer this course credit to a Regent University degree?
Is the PACE program open to current Regent degree-seeking students?
No. The PACE program is not available to current Regent University degree-seeking students. There are deadlines and requirements to enroll and remain eligible for this program. Please speak with an admissions counselor about these requirements and eligibility.
