The School of Business & Leadership Publishes its Inaugural Proceedings of the Regent Research Roundtables

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Oct. 17, 2022) – Regent University’s School of Business & Leadership has made the Proceedings of the 2021 Regent Research Roundtables available online for students, alumni, and industry professionals.

The Regent Research Roundtables Proceedings is a new platform that gives scholars an opportunity to introduce rigorous empirical research to a group of trusted thought-leaders. Then, the experts examine the concepts, research, and offer invaluable feedback to advance the work.

The Proceedings represent the presentations given at the School of Business & Leadership’s Annual Research Roundtables that showcase the work of students and scholars from around the world. The School of Business & Leadership has hosted this event for the past 19 years, and this year hosted 9 roundtables, including Biblical Perspectives, Global Consulting, Human Resource Development, Kingdom Business, Professional Coaching, Servant Leadership, Strategic Foresight, Transformative Innovation, and the newest roundtable added was Followership.

“This tool connects Regent scholars with senior level industry leaders to help promote the discovery of new ideas,” said Dr. Kathleen Patterson, director of the Doctor of Strategic Leadership program at Regent University. “Hearing new thought is invaluable because it can either change your mind or inspire you to strengthen your existing stance.”

Dr. Patterson shares the title of editor on this project with Dr. Bruce E. Winston, director of Regent’s Ph.D. program in Organizational Leadership. Dr.’s Winston and Patterson also co-chaired the 2022 Research Roundtables.

The content that’s currently available for review explores how servant leadership, human resource development, strategic foresight, and global consulting can impact areas like faith-based organizations, societal racism, conflict management, leading in a post-pandemic world, and more.
