Regent University's online degree programs have again earned top accolades, according to Best Online rankings released by U.S. News & World Report.

Regent University Among Best in Nation in U.S. News & World Report’s 2020 Best Online Programs Rankings

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (January 14, 2020) – Regent University has again earned top accolades for its online education programs, according to Best Online rankings released today by U.S. News & World Report, the leading authority on university rankings.

In its 2020 “Best Online Programs” rankings, Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences (CAS) again scored #1 for “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs” among Virginia schools, the eighth year in a row that Regent has earned the top position. Regent’s School of Education (SOE) and School of Business & Leadership (SBL) also earned very high marks respectively in Virginia for “Best Online Graduate Education Programs” (#5) , “Online Graduate Education Programs, non-MBA” (#3), and “Best Online MBA Programs” (#7).

Nationally, Regent scored #58 out of more than 350 schools for “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs.” Regent also was named for “Best Online Graduate Business Programs, non-MBA” (#78), “Best Online Graduate Education Programs” (#89) and “Best Online MBA Programs” (#142) nationally.

“In just the last month, Regent has not only placed among the top online programs nationwide from U.S. News & World Report, but the university also earned its 10-year reaffirmation of accreditation from the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges, the highest level that a university can be awarded from that organization,” said Dr. M.G. “Pat” Robertson, Regent’s founder, chancellor and CEO. “I praise the Lord for our faculty and staff and their incredible achievements – what a great way to start the new decade.”

In the Southeast, Regent’s online programs ranked #21 for “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs,” #35 for “Best Online Graduate Education Programs,” #23 for “Best Online Graduate Business Programs, non-MBA,” and #52 for “Best Online MBA Programs.”

Regent also scored highly for its programs for veterans, including “Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans” (#39), “Best Online Graduate Education Programs for Veterans” (#27), “Best Online Graduate Business Programs for Veterans” (#33) and “Best Online MBA Programs for Veterans” (#71).

The 2020 U.S. News & World Report rankings assess the programs of regionally accredited institutions across several online disciplines including Online Graduate Programs, Online MBA & Graduate Business Programs, and Online Graduate Education Programs.
