College Admissions Info Night for Home School Families

Learn about the College Admissions Process from an Insider

Regent University invites you and your family to come and learn about the college admissions process. We understand that home school families do not have access to a traditional high school college counselor to help walk with them through their search, application and financial aid processes. We also understand that there are challenges specific to home school families when they apply to certain colleges and we want to help you overcome these successfully.

Join us for an evening on campus and learn:

  • How to first identify potential college choices and then narrow down your list to the top four
  • About the advantages of taking Early College enrollment classes
  • The timeline needed for completing the admissions process (ie. due dates for SAT tests, Financial Aid deadlines, goals)
  • How the admissions process may differ for homeschooled students
  • How to promote yourself using the high school transcripts and college essay
  • The essential points needed on the home school transcript (ie. calculating GPA)
  • How to get the most from your financial aid application by understanding the financial aid process
  • How to begin your search for scholarships
Ask your questions about Regent University's home school-friendly admissions process and Early College program
    * Learn about our Regent's government and teaching summer camps for high school students
