Honors College Interview & Scholarship Competition

COMPETE FOR EXCLUSIVE HONORS COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIPS

Regent University is offering full and partial scholarship opportunities to new students through Honors Bound: Honors College Interview & Scholarship Competition.

Upon review of their application, students will be invited to attend College Preview Weekend as part of the Honors Bound competition. During this incredible weekend, students will be able to discover for themselves why Regent is America’s premier Christian university. They will also be interviewed by the Honors College Admissions Committee and considered for acceptance into the Honors College and additional scholarship selection—including a full-tuition scholarship!

And as an Honors applicant, your College Preview Weekend registration fee is waived ($50 value). You’ll receive materials, admittance into all sessions and student meal tickets at no cost. If you are unable to attend Honors Bound, please email undergrad@regent.edu.

Honors College applicants selected to interview for admission need to register for College Preview Weekend—upon invitation only—by March 1 to attend the Honors Bound: Honors College Interview & Scholarship Competition event.

Complete a phone interview with an Honors College Admissions Counselor.

STEP 4: Reserve Your Spot at Honors Bound—Register for College Preview Weekend!

Honors College applicants selected to interview for admission need to register for College Preview Weekend—upon invitation only—by March 1 to attend the Honors Bound: Honors College Interview & Scholarship Competition event.

As an Honors College applicant, you will be interviewed by the Honors College Admissions Committee and complete a timed essay. You will be considered for acceptance into the Honors College and additional scholarship selection, including a full-ride scholarship.

Additionally, you will have an opportunity to hear from Regent leadership, meet professors, make connections, and experience a unique glimpse of what your academic and student life will be like as a student here.

WHAT TO WEAR: Please dress for success in professional business attire.

  1. You must be an accepted on-campus student to Regent University’s College of Arts & Sciences.
  2. You must be a high school senior to apply to the Honors College.
  3. You must meet all Honors College application and RSVP deadlines. (View the Honors College admissions requirements)

While admissions acceptance is required to participate in the Honors Bound event, it does not obligate the applicant to attend Regent University. We highly encourage all students interested in the Honors College and other scholarship opportunities to apply for admissions to Regent University.

Deadline to Apply to the Honors College: February 10, 2023*

*Students interested in attending the Honors Bound event must first apply to Regent University AND apply to the Honors College to allow time for the selection committee to review the application.

Deadline to RSVP to the Honors Bound Event: March 1, 2023*

**If you are invited to attend the Honors Bound event, it is highly recommended that you RSVP within 24-48 hours, as spots are limited.
