Regent University School of Divinity's Field Education Program helps students apply theoretical knowledge to actual ministry settings.

Field Education Program

Field education is an integral component in preparation for ministry and helps connect theory with praxis. Through internships or supervised ministry experiences, field education allows students to apply relevant classroom learning to real-life ministry settings in order to provide opportunity for personal and professional development.

These internships help to foster spiritual maturity, skill development and ministerial competence, while allowing students to utilize their gifts. Field education is a three-fold partnership comprised of student/intern, field supervision and field education director. It accentuates the relationship between the seminary and the local church, missions, and/or parachurch organization in the equipping of future ministry leaders.

Internship and field education information is available for students in the Divinity Student Organization in Canvas.
