University Closed Thursday, Jan. 30

| January 29, 2014

Due to Winter Storm Leon, Regent University will be closed Thursday, Jan. 30. All on-campus classes and activities will be cancelled. The Student Center will remain open for student access but the Ordinary will remain closed. Online classes are not affected.

The Jan. 30 performance of Shadowlands will take place as scheduled, however.

University officials will continue to closely monitor weather conditions and will announce decisions regarding university operations for Friday, Jan. 31.

If the university delays opening or is closed, an announcement will be sent via Regent Alert, posted to Regent.edu, and broadcast on local television stations WTKR-TV 3, WAVY-TV 10 and WVEC-TV 13, as well as on several radio stations. Updates will also be made to the weather hotline at 757-352-4777.
