Find Your Voice Scholarship Competition: Singers Invited to Compete for Full-Ride Scholarships to Regent University
VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Oct. 2, 2023) – Regent University invites high-school seniors and first-time freshman students to compete in the Find Your Voice Scholarship Competition. Four singers will receive a full-ride scholarship to Regent University, beginning in Fall 2024.
One singer from each vocal group (soprano, alto, tenor, and bass) will earn a spot on Regent’s premier acapella ensemble – the Regent University Singers – and win a full-ride scholarship that covers 100% of their undergraduate tuition for four years. The competition is open to high-school seniors and first-time freshman students who wish to join the Regent University Singers beginning in Fall 2024.
To enter the Find Your Voice Scholarship Competition, follow these steps:
- Record a Video: Create a video of yourself singing. Your video should be no more than 60 seconds long. You can sing with or without musical accompaniment.
- Upload Your Video: Upload your video before December 15, 2023, to https://regent.edu/findyourvoice.
- Share with Your Friends: On January 15, 2024, the top videos will be selected and posted for public voting. The public voting window closes on March 1, 2024, and finalists will be announced.
Finalists will receive a trip to Virginia Beach to participate in College Preview Weekend from March 21-23, 2024. The competition ends with a live audition and a big announcement of the four winners.
