Media Services
As part of the IT department, Media Services provides technology support to the faculty and staff of Regent University. The department is committed to supporting Regent University's academic technological needs now and in the future.
To request a service, please submit the appropriate form:
Equipment Request Form
To request any equipment we provide or technical service and support including video records and streamed events
Post Production Requests
To create copies of DVDs, CDs, VHS tapes or other mediaView the list of available media formats, the duplication price list or the copyright checklist.

To report an issue with a piece of equipment
Studio Reservations:
To reserve a time block at one of our studios, please log in using Internet Explorer to view the available time slots via the two calendar links below. Following viewing, please email avmedia@regent.edu with the desired time slot, date, and details:
View Studio A Calendar (Formerly known as the Focus Group Room)
This studio that our technicians use for a variety of both video and audio recordings. The room is also utilized for Focus Groups.
This studio is our most recent studio. It's primary use is for recording video for academic lectures and other University video needs.
Media Services Hours and Policies
Normal Hours of Operation:
- 8:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Mon thru Fri)
- 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (Sat)
- Sunday Not Available
All events starting before, ending later or occuring outside the normal working hours will incur a service charge of $35 hr.
Requesting Support:
- All events require the submission of the above listed Equipment Request Form. Upon receipt of the form, Media Services will review the request and recommend equipment to make your event happen. If you feel that the recommended media is insufficient, you may request additional cameras or mics at the following rates:
- Extra camera (with technician to run the camera) is available for $35 hr.
- Extra mics are available for $10 each.
- Live Streaming - You must have at least 5 guaranteed online viewers in order to qualify to have your event live streamed.
Late Requests and Cancellations:
- For Media Services requests submitted less than 3 business days in advance, there will be a $50 late request fee charged to your school, department, or organization.
- For last minute cancellations (12 hours or less) or failure to communicate a cancellation to Media Services, the following fees will be charged:
- $25 - For classes, any events that require audio or video records, or events that require a technician to assist with setup.
- $15 - Projector and Spiderphone setups.
Video Editing and Duplications:
- All events requiring video editing will be reviewed and edited by our staff. Upon completion of the project editing (as determined by our staff) additional editing can be done on your project at the rate of $35 hr.
- Media Services does not do duplications.
