"The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is seeking applications for Regent Connect tour guides and hosts. This dynamic team of undergraduate students plays a vital role in the admissions and recruitment processes for the university. Applicants should have the following:
Ability to interact with all sorts of people and engage them in meaningful conversation.
A sincere desire to introduce prospective students to the Regent campus and the many opportunities available at Regent.
Two faculty or staff references.
At least one semester of experience at Regent University.
Tour guides must:
Be able to walk and talk at the same time, often for at least an hour or more
Have a wonderful smile
Be able to tell stories
Love to learn about other people and their passions
Be prompt and dependable
Overnight Hosts must:
Be willing to clean their room when guests are expected.
Be willing to "take care" of a prospective student overnight (eating in the Ordinary, taking the student to UnChapel or another activity, and getting him/her going the next morning).
