Transfer Options for Undergraduate Programs

We are excited about your desire to transfer to Regent University!  We understand this is an important decision. Throughout the undergraduate transfer process, we will help you make a smooth transition. With our flexible transfer options, we accept credit from a number of sources  and count them toward your degree. Whether you plan to study on campus or online, our transfer options for undergraduate programs make is easy for you to finish a degree and prepare for a career that will maximize your leadership potential.

Regent University will consider the following transfer credits:

  • College-level work completed at other regionally accredited colleges and universities
  • College-level work completed at TRACS or ABHE accredited colleges
  • Credit earned through approved entrance level examinations (i.e., CLEP/DANTES)
  • Military credit (more information)
  • Credits from other institutions of higher learning with whom Regent has an articulation agreement
  • Credit from non-regionally accredited institutions (evaluated on a case-by-case basis)
  • A score of 3 or higher on high school Advanced Placement exams
  • Experiential credit (more information)

Undergraduate Transfer Process

This application process is for students with 15 or more transferable college credits.

Transfer Application Requirements

Your application is complete only after all of the following have been received:

  • Completed online application Apply Now
  • $50 non-refundable application fee
  • Signed Community Life form (Part of Application)
  • Official High School Transcripts*
  • SAT/ACT scores (if the student has been out of high school for < 5 years)
  • Official College Transcripts from all previously attended institutions are required, but in some cases an admissions decision can be made from an unofficial transcript. Contact your Admissions Counselor for details.
    Learn how how to have your transcripts sent to Regent University at no cost.  Please allow at least two weeks for transcripts to be received.
    Determine if your credits earned at another institution will transfer.
  • Students transferring with an Associate’s degree from a Virginia or North Carolina community college may be eligible for additional benefits. Click on your state for more details.
  • Enrollment deposit upon acceptance (necessary for registration)

*Note: Regent University is unable to request high school transcripts.
