Regent University’s bachelor’s degree in biophysical sciences is a groundbreaking program that provides a holistic education integrating faith, ethics and science. Launched in Fall 2014, this innovative degree is one of the new exciting health sciences programs in Virginia. In the Biophysical Sciences Program (BPS) you will explore God’s world and learn to appreciate the contributions and potential of modern science while also challenging its conventional wisdom and presuppositions with an arsenal of facts and values.

More than just a biology degree program, the BPS program tightly integrates foundational classical thought with the most advanced sciences, including the disciplines of chemistry, physics, mathematics, philosophy, theology and ethics. From your first year on campus, you will begin your scientific studies alongside general education courses all taught from a biblical worldview that integrates Christian values.

You will emerge equipped for graduate education in fields such as medicine, dentistry and pharmacy; or for meaningful work in a number of in-demand career fields. Whether you work at the National Institutes of Health or the U.S. Capitol building, you will be a leader prepared to make informed decisions based on Christian principles and rigorous academic preparation.
