Study Abroad in Turkey

Trace the journey of Paul through the Seven Churches of Revelation

Join us for a transformative biblical expedition through Turkey, where ancient history and sacred scriptures come to life. Explore key sites of early Christianity, walk in the footsteps of apostles, and immerse yourself in rich biblical history, stunning landscapes, and vibrant cultures on this unforgettable spiritual journey.

This trip is hosted by Biblical Expeditions and led by Dr. Carrie Wood, Associate Professor in the School of Divinity.

Two Required Registration Steps

Apply and pay the Registration and Insurance Fee through Regent.

Costs

$100.00 – Regent Registration and Insurance Fee
Double or Single Room
– $2,586 – Biblical Expeditions Cost (Double Shared Room)
or
– $2,996 – Biblical Expeditions Cost (Single Private Room)
$200 – Expected additional food costs
$1,500-$2,000 – Round trip flight from USA to Izmir

Insurance

Regent University requires all participants to carry Regent’s very comprehensive travel insurance, including emergency medical, travel cancellation, travel assistance, evacuation coverage and more.

Regent’s travel insurance is designed to function as your primary coverage overseas.

Course & Tuition

Students may register for one of the following courses as applicable.

Masters: DGEN 689 Master’s Study Abroad (3 credits)
Doctoral: 789 Doctoral Study Abroad (3 credits)

Tuition

Tuition will be charged per credit hour according to School of Divinity rates for Summer 2027. Reference tuition prices chart here.

Financial Aid

Federal Financial Aid may be applicable for course tuition. The course must be applicable to your individual Degree Plan.

IMPORTANT: The Oxford Program Fee is nonrefundable for any reason except if the class is cancelled because the minimum number of applicants is not reached by February 9, 2027.
