Join Regent University’s Robertson School of Government for a dynamic five-part series hosted by Dean Bachmann celebrating the 250th anniversary of one of America’s most consequential documents—the Declaration of Independence. Hear from nationally recognized leaders, scholars, and historians as they share insights on our nation’s miraculous founding, enduring principles, and the role of faith and liberty in shaping our future. Events will be held in the Library Auditorium and streamed online. You are welcome to join any or all of the sessions in this exciting series.

Hon. Mark Meadows

Hon. Mark Meadows – Former White House Chief of Staff

As the 29th White House Chief of Staff under President Donald J. Trump, Meadows brought a reputation for principled leadership and consensus-building. Following four terms in Congress representing North Carolina’s 11th District, he left the Hill to serve as President Trump’s top advisor. Before public service, he spent nearly 30 years in business, specializing in startups and turnarounds. Today, he serves as Senior Partner at the Conservative Partnership Institute.

David and Tim Barton – Founders of WallBuilders

This father-son team leads WallBuilders, a national organization dedicated to presenting America’s forgotten history and heroes, emphasizing the nation’s moral, religious, and constitutional heritage. David’s extensive historical research has earned him recognition as “America’s historian,” while Tim’s compelling storytelling connects our founding principles to today’s challenges.

Col. John Eidsmoe

Col. John Eidsmoe – Historian & Legal Scholar

A constitutional attorney, author, and retired law professor, Eidsmoe has taught at Faulkner University, Oral Roberts University, and Oak Brook College of Law. A former U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel, he serves as senior counsel for the Foundation for Moral Law. He is widely respected for his expertise on America’s Christian heritage and constitutional law.


Dr. Paul Jehle

Dr. Paul Jehle – Executive Director, Plymouth Rock Foundation

Jehle, an educator, pastor, and author, has led the Plymouth Rock Foundation since 2000, championing the remembrance of the Pilgrims’ legacy and biblical heritage. He has conducted historical tours of Plymouth since 1978 and traveled internationally to teach on the Pilgrim and Patriot heritage.

Dr. Matthew Spalding

Dr. Matthew Spalding – Author & Dean, Hillsdale College

The Kirby Professor in Constitutional Government and Dean of the Van Andel Graduate School of Government at Hillsdale College’s Washington, D.C., campus, Spalding is a leading scholar on America’s founding principles. He is the best-selling author of We Still Hold These Truths and editor of The Heritage Guide to the Constitution.

Dr. Mark David Hall

Dr. Mark David Hall – Scholar of Religious Liberty

A professor at Regent University’s Robertson School of Government, Hall is one of the nation’s foremost experts on the role of Christianity in America’s founding. He has authored and edited numerous works, including Proclaim Liberty Through All the Land and Did America Have a Christian Founding?, and has served as an expert witness in major religious liberty cases.


Dr. Gregg L. Frazer

Dr. Gregg L. Frazer – Dean, John P. Stead School of Humanities; Professor of History & Political Studies

Frazer has coordinated the Political Studies program since its inception, specializing in the American Founding and religion’s role in politics. He has spoken at academic conferences, participated in public debates, and authored The Religious Beliefs of America’s Founders: Reason, Revelation, and Revolution and God Against the Revolution: The Loyalist Clergy’s Case Against the American Revolution.
