Regent University Recognized as a 2026 Top 10 Military Spouse Friendly® School

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (June 10, 2026) — Regent University has been named a Top 10 Military Spouse Friendly® School for the 2026-2027 academic year, ranking No. 9 in the “Private Offering Doctorate” category in Military Friendly®’s annual national ratings.

The designation of Military Spouse Friendly® Schools is awarded after a comprehensive, data-driven assessment of the programs, policies, and culture that institutions offer to military spouses. Ratings are based on public and proprietary data from an annual survey, with topics developed with input from an independent Advisory Council of experts in veteran education.

For spouses of active-duty service members and veterans, Regent’s benefits include access to SpouseWorks Scholarship opportunities, a 15% tuition reduction for graduate programs, and a flat tuition discount for undergraduate programs ($250-$500 per semester). Additionally, offerings include other supportive initiatives such as the university’s upcoming “Empowering Military Spouses” training. Hosted in the Robertson Hall Moot Courtroom on June 19, 2026, at 12 p.m., the event is designed to equip military spouses with practical, accessible tools for personal and professional success.

Event attendees will receive hands-on lessons in how artificial intelligence tools can assist with resume writing, interview preparation, remote work opportunities, business planning, and navigating the many transitions unique to military life.
