Regent University Presents Honorary Doctorate to Kevin Freeman

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (May 6, 2026) — Regent University has awarded an honorary Doctor of Science to Kevin D. Freeman. The ceremony took place on April 26 at Liberty Hawk Ranch in North Texas.

The Honorable Michele Bachmann, Dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University, presented Kevin Freeman with the doctoral diploma and read its inscription: “In recognition of distinguished achievements, the Board of Trustees of Regent University has conferred upon Kevin D. Freeman the honorary degree of Doctor of Science, with all the honors, rights and privileges thereto pertaining. Acknowledging God as the fountainhead of all wisdom and His Son Jesus Christ as the source of all truth, we bestow this honor on this the twenty-sixth day of April, in the year of our Lord, two thousand and twenty-six.”

Freeman is an economist and founder and CEO of Freeman Global Holdings, a New York Times bestselling author, host of Economic War Room on BlazeTV, and host of Pirate Money Radio on AFR. Considered the father of the Constitutional Currency movement, his efforts led to laws in six states allowing transactional gold and silver to be useful legal tender. Freeman previously served as an Economic Warfare consultant to the U.S. Department of Defense. He frequently appears on or in Fox News, Fox Business, CNN, CNBC, CBN, TBN, Newsmax, OAN, Salem, Real America’s Voice, BlazeTV, Flashpoint, Washington Post, Washington Times, and other programs discussing economic issues. He holds the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation and is a graduate of the University of Tulsa.
