Regent Law Hosts Virginia Court of Appeals

VIRGINIA BEACH, VA (Dec. 5, 2023) — A three-judge panel composed of Hon. Clifford L. Athey, Hon. Glen A. Huff, and Hon. Robert J. Humphreys heard live oral arguments in Regent Law’s courtroom on Tuesday, November 28. After the arguments, five judges of the court of appeals held an hour-long question-and-answer session with students. This is the second year in a row that the Virgina Court of Appeals has held oral arguments at Regent Law.

More than two hundred Regent Law students came to witness the proceedings. “At Regent Law, we aspire to train purpose-driven, practice-ready attorneys. We want our students to learn both by reading about the law and through practical training and first-hand experience. We’re grateful to the members of the court of appeals who came and invested in our students.”
