Health and safety of the Regent community remains our top priority
Amid the outbreak of COVID-19, commonly referred to as coronavirus, the health and safety of the Regent community remains our top priority.
It has come to our attention that a few members of the Regent community recently attended conferences in the Washington, D.C. area. These conferences have since confirmed three cases of COVID-19 among conference attendees.
The Regent community members who attended these conferences are not experiencing any symptoms of the virus and cannot confirm any contact with COVID-19. However, out of an abundance of caution, these individuals have elected to self-quarantine for a 2-week period in order to protect the broader Regent community.
At this time, there are no confirmed cases of COVID-19 at Regent University. The university is operating under normal business hours, and classes will continue as planned.

We will continue to monitor the outbreak of COVID-19 and proactively communicate updates. We pray the LORD’s protection over you and the entire Regent community.
“He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the LORD, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” (Psalm 91:1-2)
