A Prayer for Torchbearers

Join us in praying for America and all who defend faith and freedom.

Heavenly Father, you are the God of history and hope, the Author of liberty, and the Giver of every good gift.

We lift our hearts to You on this 250th anniversary of the United States of America. With gratitude, we remember the courage of those who first declared that all people are endowed by their Creator with unalienable rights.

Breathe fresh purpose into our great nation. Renew in us a love for truth, a passion for justice, and a steadfast commitment to freedom for all. Heal our divisions. Strengthen our families. Raise up leaders of integrity, courage, and compassion who will seek righteousness and serve with Your love.

Lord Jesus, You called Your followers “a city on a hill” (Matthew 5:14). Make America, once again, a radiant witness of Your grace — where hope is shared, opportunity is extended, and faith is lived boldly. Guard us from evil, help us walk in Your ways, and anchor us in repentance and gratitude.

“If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

Raise up servant-leaders who will seek Your kingdom first and labor for the good of all people. May they proclaim the truth of the gospel with confidence, courage, and conviction.

We thank You for those who faithfully invest in future generations of Christian leaders who will change the world. Bless the men and women whose generosity equips students and alumni to serve with excellence in government, business, media, ministry, law, education, and every sphere of influence. Multiply their impact and let their partnership carry forward the torch of faith and freedom — across America and around the globe — with Christ-centered love and conviction.

Creator God, we know our future depends not on our strength alone but on Your favor. May we always remain one nation under God. Pour out Your blessings on this land and revive Your people. Let America’s next chapters be written with faith, humility, and hope.

All glory and honor belong to You — now and forever.

In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
