Italy Trip For Trauma & Safeguarding Studies (April 21-27, 2024)

Trip highlights include: Presenting on trauma to international students in Rome, biking at Lucca, a chocolate factory tour in Perugia, and a cooking class in Florence. Open to doctoral-level students and part of the Safeguard elective course.

Study Abroad in Ireland (June 17-26, 2024)

Students will embark on a historical and cultural tour of Ireland as they explore three major cities: Dublin, Belfast, and Galway. Student will enjoy guided educational tours of important cathedrals, castles, and other historical landmarks that are connected to key literary sites within the country.

Summer Study in Oxford, England (June 29-July 6, 2024)

The School of Communication & the Arts’ (SCA) summer study program in Oxford, England gives you the opportunity to join professors Dr. Bill Brown and Dr. Michael Elam for a unique one-week study tour, retracing the life and work of C.S. Lewis, one of the greatest contemporary authors of the Christian faith. This (3) credit class, examines the life and work of C. S. Lewis as it relates to our understanding of communication theory and practice.

Study Abroad in Jerusalem, Israel at Hebrew University

Take advantage of this challenging academic program designed for highly motivated undergraduate students. Hebrew University offers a variety of courses in English from a full range of majors. Explore Israel’s rich and vibrant culture through field trips and social activities. Internship opportunities with Israeli private companies, public institutions, and non-governmental organizations (NGOs) are available but not required. This program will help prepare you for your future career or continuing studies.

GlobalEd Study Abroad Programs

GlobalEd is an off-campus study abroad program offered exclusively through the Council of Christian Colleges & Universities (CCCU), which is an association of intentionally Christian colleges and universities. Regent is an affiliate member of the CCCU, which means you can take advantage of their semester-long program in Oxford, England.   • Global Mental Health Counseling Study Abroad in Uganda (2017)
  • Study Abroad in Russia (2017)
  • A Tale of Two Cities (2016): A study abroad trip to London, England; Paris, France; and other locales important to Western literature and culture. Students will visit historic sites and enjoy guided, educational tours of important cathedrals, colleges and historical landmarks. The trip is available to all on-campus and online students.
  • Literary England and Scotland (2014): A 10-day summer study abroad trip to London, England; Edinburgh, Scotland; and several other cities and locales important to British literature, including Oxford, Haworth, York, the Lake Country and the Border Lands. Students will have the opportunity to study and interact with great literature in its own cultural context, while exploring many of the marvels of both England and Scotland.
