As presenting sponsor, you are recognized on every production of the theatre season, in every program for those productions, and in the promotion built around them. This level is limited to a single sponsor, named across the whole season above the individual show sponsors.
Regent Center for Performing ArtsTM: Season Sponsorship Opportunities
Every season, the Regent Center for Performing Arts stages four theatre productions in Virginia Beach. Each production is a collaboration between School of Communication & the Arts students, university faculty, and professional directors, designers, and actors coming together to bring redemptive stories to this region at the highest standard. Your season sponsorship puts your name, your company’s name, or your family’s name on that work, while supporting the next generation of Christian theatre professionals and even more ambitious productions!
Sponsorship underwrites the theatre season across the main and studio stages. The levels below are structured so that a presenting sponsor, individual production sponsors, and supporting donors are all recognized together.
Where Your Gift Lands
| Level | Amount | Recogition |
|---|---|---|
| Theatre Season Sponsor | $75,000 | Presenting sponsor across the full theatre season; limited to one |
| Mainstage Sponsor | $20,000 | Named on a single mainstage theatre production; At least two available across the season |
| Studio Sponsor | $15,000 | Named on a single studio theatre production; At least two available across the season |
| Supporting Levels | $2,500–$10,000 | Recognized in the program and lobby |
A mainstage sponsorship carries your name on the marquee for one theatre production, in that production’s program, in its lobby signage, and in its marketing. Mainstage productions are the season’s largest work and draw its widest audience.
The studio is Regent’s more intimate stage, built for close, text-driven work played to a smaller house. A studio sponsorship carries the same named recognition in the program and lobby as the mainstage level.
Every gift at this level is named in the program and recognized in the lobby alongside the season and production sponsors. This is where most local businesses and families begin.
For the Donor Thinking in Decades
Some donors would prefer to endow a season or a show than fund one. A permanent endowment carries the work under a family’s name for as long as the Center stands, and it can be sized to a full theatre season, a single production, a concert, a residency, and beyond. Contact us to imagine what your legacy on stage could be.
