Change the World Through Campaign Marketing & Communication

Do you have a passion for politics and seek to run an effective campaign? Regent’s Master of Arts in Campaigns & Political Leadership with a concentration in Marketing & Communication will equip you in the process and practice of election strategy, impactful messaging, winning public opinion, and earning ballot box victories. Presented from a limited-government perspective with an emphasis on principles of federalism, this is the first explicitly Christian offering of its kind in the nation. You will learn about campaign management, political parties, administrative ethics, and finance and compliance issues. You’ll also study the digital marketing landscape and how to use the power of social media to expand your base and reach voters across the aisle. Taught by award-winning faculty, this specialized degree is delivered fully online or online with some face-to-face components in Virginia Beach.

Principles, aesthetics and writing practices of media professional seeking to persuade audiences with targeting messages across multiple media platforms. Student will acquire, write, and produce persuasive multimedia content. Multiplatform production lab included. Cross-listed with COM 542 and JRN 542.
Emerging marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networks to produce increases in brand awareness or to achieve other marketing objectives (such as product sales) through self-replicating viral processes. Cross-listed with MKTG 634.
An overview of digital marketing including ad networks, demandside platforms, and data management platforms interaction with advertisers, agencies, and publishers. Cross-listed with MKTG 636.
Current internet, social media, and mobile media marketing theories, strategies, tools and practices. Includes study of communication methods used by professionals in journalism, film television, advertising, public relations, and related professions to brand, promote, and distribute products and services. Web-based production lab included. Cross-listed with COM 607, JRN 607 and COM 717.
Public communication campaigns, strategies and practices, including the management of public opinion and the creation of corporate image. National and international cases in politics, health, sports, environment and religion are examined. Applied lab included. Cross-listed with COM 651.
Professional strategies and practices for developing, maintaining and restoring an organization’s image. Emphasis on crisis communication planning and response, including knowledge of how the interactive digital media environment fosters and intensifies organizational crises, creates ethical challenges, and provides innovative response opportunities. Applied lab include. Cross-listed with COM 652.

All new students are expected to check-in for the semester two weeks before the session start date. Students should apply, be accepted, enroll in their first courses, and confirm a plan to pay for their courses prior to this date.

  • Upon conditional acceptance, Regent University will attempt to obtain your official transcripts from your U.S. degree-granting institution.
  • International transcripts must be evaluated by an NACES-approved company.

Step 4: Submit Your Government-Issued ID

  • Email a photo of your government-issued ID to apply@regent.edu using the subject line: Government ID.
  • Please note that all items submitted as part of the application process become the property of Regent University and cannot be returned.
