Regent Introduces Seven New Areas of Study for Fall 2026

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. (Jan. 26, 2026) — Regent University is adding seven new areas of study to its Fall 2026 curriculum for graduate students, including a master’s degree program, five concentrations, and one graduate certificate.

The following seven areas of study will be available beginning with the Fall 2026 semester:

New Degree Program

Master of Arts (M.A.) in Trauma Ministry & Disaster Relief

Explore the biblical, theological, and psychological training necessary to provide specialized trauma-informed care and disaster relief. Learn how to foster healing, resilience, and renewal through comprehensive pastoral care.

New Concentrations

Master of Business Administration (MBA) – Artificial Intelligence for Business Leaders

Lead organizations confidently in an AI-driven economy. Integrating business acumen with ethical discernment, this concentration prepares graduates to harness artificial intelligence for strategic decision-making, operational excellence, and innovation — all within a framework grounded in Christian values.

Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Counseling & Psychological Studies – General Counseling & Psychological Studies

Design a customized doctoral path by selecting advanced courses across multiple specialty areas that align with your unique interests, professional goals, and calling to serve.

Master of Arts (M.A.) in Organizational Leadership – Artificial Intelligence & Organizational Leadership

Become equipped as a professional and ministry leader to guide people and organizations through AI-driven change with wisdom, ethical discernment, and Christ-centered stewardship.

Master of Science (M.S.) in Cybersecurity – Artificial Intelligence

Integrate AI algorithms, tools, and systems into comprehensive cybersecurity strategies. Master the skills needed to design secure AI systems, automate threat detection, and become an AI security engineer or architect.

Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) – Trauma Ministry & Renewal

Design and facilitate Spirit-empowered ministry through advanced trauma-informed training. Integrate the Bible, theology, psychology, and pastoral care as catalysts for healing, resilience, and transformation in contexts of suffering and adversity.

New Certificate

Certificate of Graduate Studies (CGS) in Nonprofit Management
