Excel in mind and Spirit.

Grammy Award-winning artist, bestselling author, and mental health advocate Michelle Williams is pursuing her B.S. in Psychology at Regent and preparing to change the world through counseling. Join her and start your journey toward a guaranteed $500 scholarship.

A world changer back in the classroom.

From advocacy to the counseling room.

Michelle Williams has spent her career on the world’s biggest stages — as a member of Destiny’s Child, one of the most successful recording groups of all time, and as a Grammy Award-winning solo artist whose album Journey to Freedom produced the certified-Gold single Say Yes.

She has also built a second calling off stage. Through her podcast, Checking In; her book, Checking In: How Getting Real About Depression Saved My Life — and Can Save Yours; and her work as an ambassador for the U.S. Office on Women’s Health, she has become one of the most trusted advocates for mental health and wholeness in the country.

Now she’s turning that advocacy into a credential. Michelle is pursuing her Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Regent so she can meet people in the counseling room, not just on a podcast — bringing clinical training to the conversations she has been having for years.

Regent exists to raise up Christian leaders to change the world. For Michelle, that world-changing happens one person at a time, through counseling. She was made to excel both in mind and spirit, and so were you.
