Phylicia Fontenot, Ph.D.
Bio
Dr. Phylicia Fontenot is an Instructor in the School of Psychology & Counseling at Regent University, a licensed professional school counselor in the state of Virginia, and a nationally certified counselor.
Before coming to Regent, she spent 15 years in school counseling leadership as a Middle School Counseling Director at a local public school in Virginia and a School Counseling Consultant with an EdTech company serving virtual schools internationally. In these roles, she gained experience in delivering expert guidance and operational support across comprehensive school counseling programming and ensuring the consistent and compliant delivery of school counseling services in both traditional and virtual environments.
Outside of the classroom, Dr. Fontenot enjoys traveling, spending time with family, and occasionally having quiet time in nature.
