Nathan Bauers, M.Div.
Bio
Professor Nathan Bauers serves as a Lecturer in the College of Health & Behavioral Sciences at Regent University, where he teaches in the Counseling Ministries and Psychology departments.
Originally born in Coronado, California, Professor Bauers was raised in a Navy family that settled in Virginia Beach, Virginia in 1993. He has spent most of his life in the greater Hampton Roads area. He is currently completing his Ph.D. in Counseling & Psychological Studies at Regent University.
He has served in various pastoral leadership roles since 2012 and has a deep love for training leaders to teach and lead others to see the beauty and worth of Jesus in all of life. His research focus and dissertation focus on the interplay of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and discipleship in the life of the local church.
Professor Bauers enjoys life with his church, his family, and being outdoors and exercising. He always has a stack of books nearby and loves traveling and visiting coffee shops with his wife and daughter.
