Nadia Nafar, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Nadia Nafar is Associate Professor of Finance at Regent University. She holds a Ph.D. in Finance from Old Dominion University and the Executive Certificate in Financial Planning from Old Dominion University in partnership with the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc.

Prior to joining Regent University, Dr. Nafar served as Associate Professor of Management, Business, and Economics at Virginia Wesleyan University, where she also held the administrative appointment of Assistant Dean of the Global Campus. Earlier, she served as Assistant Professor of Finance at Alfred University in New York.

Her research agenda focuses on international corporate governance, financial planning, and pedagogy. At Regent University, Dr. Nafar is dedicated to equipping the next generation of servant leaders in Finance who lead with competence and integrity, placing the needs and interests of individuals, organizations, and communities first.
