Marc Clifford, DBA

Bio

Dr. Marc Clifford serves as an Associate Dean for the College of Arts & Sciences and Assistant Provost of Operations for Academic Affairs. Since joining Regent University in 2016, he has provided executive-level operational leadership across a wide range of academic units, including Academic Affairs, the College of Arts & Sciences, the College of Health Sciences, and the School of Communication & the Arts, as well as the university’s institutes for Cybersecurity, Technology Innovation, and Music & Worship. During his tenure he has assisted in the stewardship of operational and academic budgets and assets. When he has time, he is an Adjunct Professor in the Engineering & Computer Science and Business, Leadership, & Management programs.

Before entering higher-education administration, Dr. Clifford spent more than three decades in senior operations, program, and project management roles across the technology sector and in multiple industries. As a Military Veteran, he served and led across multiple countries.

Originally from Somerville, Massachusetts, Dr. Clifford grew up in Virginia Beach, Virginia, and spent 20 years in Austin, Texas, working in the semiconductor industry before moving back to Virginia Beach. He enjoys spending his time with God, family, and friends.
