Jasmine Knight, Ph.D.

Bio

Dr. Jasmine Knight is an Associate Professor in the School of Psychology & Counseling. She also serves as Director of the School of Psychology & Counseling and Chair of the Counseling Department. Before coming to Regent, she taught in the Counseling and Human Services program at Roosevelt University in Chicago. Dr. Knight also worked for several years as a professional school counselor with Newport News Public Schools in Virginia. During this time, she gained experience in implementing the ASCA National Model, promoting college and career readiness, and advocating for students, families, and the profession.

Dr. Knight has had the opportunity to speak at numerous regional and national conferences about topics including school counselor supervision, relational aggression, career development, mentoring doctoral students, and working with adolescents impacted by poverty.
