Graduation 2010
Graduation at Regent University consists of two parts:

School Commissioning Ceremonies
Each school conducts individual Commissioning activities. While the school activities vary by school, all Commissioning activities include:
Individual student recognition
Hooding of graduate students (undergraduate students are not hooded)
Faculty prayer for the graduates
A dinner or reception opportunity for graduates, family and friends -
The University Commencement Ceremony - Saturday, May 8, 2010
All Regent graduates are invited to participate in the University's "official" graduation ceremony, which takes place on the Library Plaza (weather permitting). This event includes:
A faculty/graduate processional
A charge to graduates from Dr. Robertson
An address from a special Commencement speaker
Recognition of outstanding students, honors graduates & joint degree candidates
The conferring of degrees (graduates stand as a group and degrees are conferred)
Individual graduate recognition (graduates walk across stage as names are read)
A faculty/graduate recessional
A reception for graduates, family and friends on the Communication Building plaza
