Treating Traumatized Children and Adolescents Workshop

This workshop will address reactions of children and adolescents in times of trauma. Particular attention will be given to Post Trauma Stress reactions and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). Etiology and childhood antecedents will be discussed as precursors to reaction and discussion of resiliency factors will be explored. Intervention strategies will be demonstrated and practiced.
