"And pray in the Spirit at all times with all kinds of prayers and requests." (Ephesians 6:18)

Most people are familiar with the lyrics by Percy Sledge "When a man loves a woman, he can't keep his mind on nothin' else…" The heart in love returns endlessly to focus on the beloved. When the Holy Spirit enters your heart, He brings you into relationship with Love Himself. In this lesson, learn to allow simple prayers like a "breath prayer" to cultivate the focus of your heart and mind on God. You'll find direction, encouragement and renewed confidence that you can be intimately connected to God and that prayer can become the natural language of your preoccupation.

(19-Feb-2010 20:28:30) Valarie Hill: The power of Gods Presence is indeed in every breath because it is by Him that we move aned breathe and have our being. So to embrace breath prayer as a habit of the heart is to awaken the greater from within consciously; allowing our heart and mind to to synchroneously give him praise and worship as we who as humans, being a tripartide, body, soul and spirit, respond and give recognition to the one to whom we owe our name. We do indeed at this time embrace Him in the fullness as our redeemer and allow Him to flow freely into every fiber of our being begining wtih the seat of motivation, our heart, which empowers our mind to focus on the reason for and of life. The Lord God Almighty, in the Name of Jesus, empowered by the Holy Spirit, the mighty Trinity, takes over and our hmanity is shut down and the one who is one with our spirit, has consumed us. Wwe do indeed become one with the Father and Christ by His Spirit, just like brother Lawrence. Hallelujah! What an amazing manifestation of the Glory of God in every breath.
