Future Students Religious Studies Degree

Study religion from a Christian perspective.

With Regent’s Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies, you will be a part of a community of believers committed to encountering the world of the Bible and the world of the twenty-first century—and building bridges between the two.  Our students sense that God is calling them to become Christian leaders who will change the world, and they see Regent as a place where they can pursue that calling in very tangible ways.  The Religious Studies faculty are eager to come alongside you to help you build a solid foundation in biblical and theological studies with the goal of preparing you for increasingly fruitful engagement in ministry and society.

Regent’s Religious Studies degree is offered online and on campus.  In either environment, professors are intentional about creating an engaging learning community.  Small class sizes ensure that you receive the personal attention and feedback that are so vital to life-changing learning.  You will easily be able to stay connected with classmates and professors through class forums, virtual classrooms, podcasts, and the latest version of Blackboard, a technology providing a premier online classroom environment.

Regent's Religious Studies Program equips you to…

TheBA in Religious Studies provides you with a strong biblical and theological foundation that will be useful to you wherever your calling takes you.  The degree also equips you with the skills and perspectives you need to participate effectively in shaping the spiritual and religious life of your community.  Further, a degree in Religious Studies provides a strong foundation for pursuing further studies in graduate school (for example: law, journalism, government, religion, etc.) or seminary.  It also is well-suited for students moving directly into ministry, a service organization, or another organization in which critical thinking and creative leadership grounded in a Biblical worldview is required.  Religious Studies majors at Regent University find that they are well-prepared for the next step in their ongoing quest to live as Christian leaders who change the world.
