Marvin Olasky edits the nation’s fourth most widely read weekly news magazine, WORLD, and serves as professor of journalism at the University of Texas. He has written 15 novels and books of history and cultural analysis, including Scimitar’s Edge, Compassionate Conservatism, The Politics of Disaster, Abortion Rites, Standing for Christ in Modern Babylon, The American Leadership Tradition and The Religions Next Door. He received an A.B. from Yale University in 1971 and a Ph.D. in American Culture from the University of Michigan in 1976.
