Regent University and the School of Psychology & Counseling research centers engage in activities that extend our outreach and influence in the world. Regular events and workshops with renowned speakers are conducted through these centers, providing students and professionals with rich opportunities to increase their knowledge and receive certifications and continuing education credits.
Psychological Services Center
The Psychological Services Center allows graduate students to provide therapy, assessment and outreach services to the community under the supervision of clinical psychologists.
The Center for Trauma Studies
The Center for Trauma Studies offers students hands-on training in crisis intervention with licensed professional counselors. Get trained in the methods of Green Cross, Red Cross, FEMA and more.
MMate Center & The Hope Project
The Marriage and Ministry Assessment Training and Empowerment (MMATE) Center allows doctoral students to provide couples counseling using the HOPE-focused approach to couples intervention.
Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity
The Institute for the Study of Sexual Identity (ISSI) immerses students in research, training and clinical services to further our understanding of sexual identity.
Child Trauma Institute
The Child Trauma Institute offers doctoral students opportunities to understand, and become a leading voice for, the role of faith in the prevention of and recovery from various forms of childhood trauma.
