Global Business Continuity Plan for Multinational Operations

Global Business Continuity Plan for Multinational Operations

Ebonie T. Pritchett | 2025

Abstract

This study investigates the development of Business Continuity Plan (BCP) strategies across security, global leadership, law enforcement, and communication domains. The research proposes a comprehensive framework that bridges organizational resilience—both planned and adaptive—with organizational performance in multinational corporations. Through deductive reasoning, the study analyzes existing literature to progress from general principles to specific findings. The research evaluates location-specific operational risks and their potential impacts, leading to targeted action items including the establishment of cybersecurity response teams, standardization of security protocols across law enforcement divisions, and implementation of crisis communication systems. These measures, coordinated through global leadership initiatives, form an interconnected strategy. The resulting framework demonstrates how deductive reasoning can be applied to create tailored risk mitigation strategies that address organization-specific challenges.

Authentic Organizational Leadership: Transforming Leaders, Retaining Talent, Elevating Organizations

Authentic Organizational Leadership: Transforming Leaders, Retaining Talent, Elevating Organizations

Chambala Roach | 2025

Abstract

This manuscript challenges conventional wisdom about leadership selection and development, arguing that organizational success depends on authentic organizational leadership rather than superficial metrics. Drawing from military and corporate experiences, biblical principles, and organizational theory, it introduces the ASCENDS framework—Authenticity, Synergy, Competence, Equity, Nurture, Diversity, and Sustainability—as an approach that transcends the artificial divide between Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) and Merit, Excellence, and Intelligence (MEI). Central to the book’s thesis is that leadership effectiveness flows from genuine Love for one’s people and authentic passion for one’s work.

These elements create environments where belonging and growth naturally flourish. Through poignant personal stories, from Soldiers contemplating workplace violence to childhood anecdotes, the text illustrates how leadership principles manifest with profound consequences. The manuscript identifies toxic leadership patterns, including “Chaos Chameleons” and “Munchausen by Proxy Leadership,” providing tools to recognize and address destructive behaviors. This manuscript argues that leadership is not merely positional but relational and active, requiring continuous engagement. Organizations must move beyond superficial approaches to create environments where diverse talents flourish.

The transformation begins not with changing others but with the courageous decision to lead authentically. The essence of this transformational approach finds profound resonance in the timeless wisdom of 1 Corinthians 13:4-7: “Love is patient, Love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonor others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.” These qualities describe the foundation of authentic organizational leadership – patient in development, kind in execution, humble in success, honoring of others, focused on service rather than self, measured in response, and forward-looking rather than grudge-holding.

A Strategic Leadership Plan for Black Health Equity: Transforming Systems to Eliminate Disparities

A Strategic Leadership Plan for Black Health Equity: Transforming Systems to Eliminate Disparities

Bernard D. Robinson | 2025

Abstract

Healthcare inequities in the U.S. lead to higher rates of chronic disease, maternal health complications, and limited healthcare access for the Black community. The economic burden of these disparities is substantial, costing the U.S. economy billions annually due to increased healthcare expenditures. The financial burden is compounded by reduced workforce productivity and the strain on public resources. This manuscript examines racial health disparities in the U.S. healthcare system and proposes a comprehensive strategy to achieve health equity. It highlights the systemic racism, historical injustices, and structural inequities that disproportionately affect Black communities. The manuscript also explores historical medical exploitation, segregation, and discriminatory healthcare policies that have fostered mistrust of the healthcare system in the Black community.

The author advocates for transformative leadership in healthcare. Emphasis is on the need for culturally competent care, cross-sector collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and equitable policy reforms. This manuscript highlights the role of social determinants of health, such as housing, education, and economic stability, as critical factors influencing health outcomes. The manuscript warns that continued inaction will lead to a potential healthcare industry collapse comparable to the 2008 financial crisis. Financial collapse is inevitable due to rising costs, hospital closures, and increasing medical debt. This manuscript serves as a call to action for healthcare leaders, policymakers, and community organizations to work collectively toward systemic change. Various stakeholders are provided with specific plans for their sector. Health equity is a moral and social obligation and an economic necessity for a sustainable healthcare system. This project aims to provide an in-depth analysis of racial health disparities within the U.S. healthcare system while presenting a strategic leadership plan for closing the gap.

African American Males Overcoming Structural Impediments in Leadership (A Manuscript to Young Black Men)

African American Males Overcoming Structural Impediments in Leadership (A Manuscript to Young Black Men)

Gerrod J. Jenkins | 2025

Abstract

It is no secret that young men of color often find it extremely difficult to obtain leadership positions within organizations. Equally unsurprising is the fact that even after securing such positions, advancing further can be a significant challenge. Many fail to recognize—whether consciously or unconsciously—the structural or systemic barriers that hinder individuals from achieving and progressing in these roles. While these barriers are widely acknowledged, young men must first learn to identify them. At the same time, they may not fully understand how to overcome these challenges or navigate their respective journeys.

Manuscript to Young Black Men was penned to restore hope and trust within young Black males aspiring to become leaders. This manuscript provides vivid examples of African American male leaders across various industries, illustrating the challenges they faced in their leadership journeys and the strategies they used to break barriers and succeed. While it addresses the barriers themselves, the primary focus is on the solutions and actions that led to success. This work emphasizes that the obstacles faced by Black men in the 1950s and 1960s remain relevant in today’s leadership landscape. Central to the manuscript is the theme of overcoming barriers through God-centered solutions. It is intended to serve as a guiding light for those who follow in these footsteps.

Prophetic Leadership: Foreseeing the Right Action in the Right Season

Prophetic Leadership: Foreseeing the Right Action in the Right Season

Rev. Wade Jensen | 2025

Abstract

Prophetic leadership exists as another type of leadership through Scripture and history. Prophetic leaders receive insight through natural or supernatural means to foresee the actions needed for the organizations they serve. A history of prophetic leadership operates in every generation. These leaders emerge to serve a unique purpose within all spheres of culture.

The prophetic leadership and strategic foresight blueprints are developed through an examination of the life of Joseph, practice of Jeremiah, and other Scriptures referencing prophecy, prayer, strategy, timing, and seasons. Then known historical and cultural examples of prophetic leaders parallel the Biblical blueprints to reveal how the life and practice of Joseph or Jeremiah mirror their personal life and impact.

The benefits of this project provide three practical applications. First, all leader types receive a better understanding of prophetic leaders and how they fit within the organization. Organizations include systems from small enterprises to entire nations, depending on the prophetic leader’s assignment and context. Second, current leaders possess a strategic foresight blueprint practical for use in both secular and sacred institutions. Third, this work enables current leaders to identify prophetic leaders and prepare them to assist positioned leaders. Additionally, leaders applying Biblical blueprints within their current systems empower their people and organizations to meet the demands of the future and achieve their full potential.

From the Cubicle to the Couch: How to Maximize an Agile Work Life

From the Cubicle to the Couch: How to Maximize an Agile Work Life

Anthony C. Jones | 2025

Abstract

As the global workforce shifts from rigid office structures to increasingly hybrid and remote models, organizations must redefine how, where, and why work is performed. From the Cubicle to the Couch offers a comprehensive, research-driven guide to navigating this evolving landscape through the lens of the Aigle Work Life (AWL) model – a strategic framework that helps organizations triple their bottom lines by focusing on the three pillars of People, Planet, and Profit. Drawing on more than two decades of leadership experience and cutting-edge workplace studies, this manuscript empowers leaders to build dynamic, inclusive, high-performing teams by fostering trust, well-being, engagement, and sustainability.

The text examines the psychological, cultural, and operational dimensions of remote work through rich historical context, data-backed insights, and practical leadership strategies. It addresses pressing challenges such as digital burnout, equity disparities, and the erosion of workplace culture while offering solutions grounded in transformational leadership, psychological safety, and intentional communication. The AWL model enhances productivity and talent retention and delivers tangible environmental and financial benefits.

This guide is essential reading for executives, HR professionals, policymakers, and forward-thinking leaders committed to shaping resilient, human-centered workplaces for the future. It challenges outdated norms and offers a blueprint for thriving in a post-industrial, digitally connected world- where agility, compassion, and strategic foresight are then new currencies of success.

Organization Design in Schools: A Practical Guide for School Principals

Organization Design in Schools: A Practical Guide for School Principals

Daniel Lee | 2025

Abstract

Organizational design is a crucial factor in the success of any institution, and schools are no exception. With educational environments increasingly complex and demands on schools mounting, effective organizational structures are essential for achieving institutional goals. However, many school leaders lack a comprehensive understanding of how their structural decisions may lead to unintended consequences. This gap can hinder student learning and limit their ability to fulfill their potential.

This doctoral project addresses this challenge by equipping educational leaders with the tools, language, and strategies necessary to evaluate and enhance their school’s organizational design. It covers foundational organizational design principles, examines structural archetypes, and provides detailed guidance on creating and testing tailored structural concepts. Drawing on research into executive team compositions across 93 Australian Christian schools, it offers contextually relevant insights.

The project’s practical applications enable participants to adapt and implement these design principles within their unique settings. By aligning their organizational design with the school’s mission and strategy, leaders can foster environments where students thrive and achieve potential. This work underscores the critical intersection of organizational design and educational effectiveness, providing a pathway for schools to better meet the challenges of today’s dynamic educational landscape.

A Roadmap for American

A Roadmap for American ‎Churches and People of Faith: ‎W.W.J.D. (What Would Jesus ‎Do?)‎

Bill Marianes | 2025

Abstract

Christianity is declining in America by most observable metrics. For example:

  1. approximately 64% of youth are leaving their church,
  2. some denominations have lost over 47% of adults born into their faith,
  3. “NONES” (who claim no religious affiliation) are the largest group in America today (27%) and growing steadily,
  4. church attendance has decreased by over 50% over the last 20 years,
  5. only about 20%-25% of faithful attend a church at least once a month,
  6. the median rate of church growth is steadily declining (7% decline in the last 5 years),
  7. clergy shortages are epidemic, and religious education needs are exploding,
  8. financial challenges plague many parishes and denominations, and
  9. we are living in exponential times with the pace of change accelerating. ‎

We need a μετάνοια (metanoia) transformative change of heart and better strategies. The data show the top three S³ challenges churches face are:

  • Servant Leadership and Strategic Planning,
  • Stewardship and Engagement, and
  • Spiritual Formation and Religious Education.

This Roadmap is a church health and effectiveness guidebook. The first fourteen chapters provide specific step-by-step best practices strategies to address the root causes of each S³ challenge. It helps churches and ministries discover and live their WHY and Core Values to fulfill their Mission and achieve their future Vision. This Roadmap also provides people of faith the steps to pursue “a good account before the awesome judgment seat of Christ” (II Corinthians ‎‎5:10).

From the beginning of the Holy Scripture (Genesis 1:26), through the teachings of Christ (John 17:21-22) and St. Paul’s instructions ‎‎(Galatians 3:27-28), to the clear affirmation in the Nicene Creed developed by the heirs ‎to the Apostles, everything sacred points toward unity and “Oneness In Christ” (“OIC”). However, without an OIC Roadmap, Christ’s churches in America today are many in division and ‎weakness rather than one in unity and strength.‎

‎As a result: (a) Chapter 15 provides a Roadmap for “Oneness In Christ Disciples” to bring people closer to Christ and each other, (b) Chapter 16 provides a ‎Roadmap to unify all the 18 Orthodox Christian Jurisdictions in the United States, and (c) ‎Chapter 17 provides a high-level Roadmap for unity between the Roman Catholic ‎and Orthodox Christian Churches (and perhaps eventually all Christian churches in America).

Overall, this Roadmap provides a specific path and detailed steps and strategies to help one and their church overcome their struggles and experience a μετάνοια needed to achieve a most righteous “good account” in their II Corinthians 5:10 Moment.

The Future-Focused Leader: Organizational Excellence in the Age of Technological Disruption and Human Transformation. A STRATEGIC LEADERS GUIDE TO BUILDING RESILIENT ORGANIZATIONS THAT THRIVE

Tamara McGriff | 2025

Abstract

The Future-Focused Leader: Organizational Excellence in the Age of Technological Disruption and Human Transformation explores the challenges leaders face in an era of navigating the complexities of technological disruption and transformative changes within organizations. It identifies the critical competencies and strategies needed to foster resilient and high-performing organizations using a mixed-methods approach to research, including qualitative interviews with industry leaders and a thorough review of contemporary organizational leadership theories.

Findings reveal that for organizations to thrive in an era of change and complexity, future-focused leadership requires a shift from traditional hierarchical models, emphasizing adaptive strategic thinking, a commitment to purpose-driven organizational cultures, and the capacity to leverage technological advancements alongside the activation of human potential. In addition, strategic leaders who prioritize fostering employee empowerment, resilience frameworks to promote employee well-being, innovation, and strategic integration of technology are better positioned to drive sustainable organizational growth and success and navigate uncertainty.

This research contributes to the academic discourse on leadership by providing a framework for developing organizational excellence and competitive advantage in an era of rapid change, disruption, and technological innovation, emphasizing the need for leaders to shift their approach to how they lead organizations through the lens of strategic leadership, which entails a holistic approach that integrates technological innovation, strategic foresight, and human-centered leadership. Readers will understand how to implement practical strategic actions required to build organizations that thrive amidst disruption, focusing on the interdependent relationship between technological advancement and human transformation.
